Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has already set a new record during his first week at Ferrari, it has been reported.
On Monday, Hamilton, 40, arrived at Ferrari's base in Maranello to begin a new chapter of his illustrious career.
Taking to social media, the F1 legend sent fans into orbit as he posted one of his coldest-ever pictures.

The image showed the Brit standing next to a classic Ferarri F40 in front of Enzo Ferrari's iconic white house, with many fans pointing out the hidden meaning behind the picture.
Accompanying the picture, Hamilton released a statement stating his excitement over starting life as a Ferrari driver.
On Wednesday morning, Hamilton went behind the wheel of a Ferrari F1 car for the first time as he drove around the team's test track in Fiorano.

However, fans tuning in to watch Hamilton in action were left slightly disappointed as the weather conditions meant the visibility was not as good as it can be.
Just days after officially starting as a Ferrari driver, it has been claimed that Hamilton has already set a new record.

As reported by Planet F1, Hamilton's first official photograph for the team has already broken the record for the most F1 likes on Instagram.

It has been suggested that Hamilton's post beat Charles Leclerc's celebratory picture from last season's Italian Grand Prix, which has 4.6 million likes.
At the time of writing, Hamilton's first Ferrari post has already gone past 5.2 million likes.
Hamilton wrote: "There are some days that you know you’ll remember forever and today, my first as a Ferrari driver, is one of those days. I’ve been lucky enough to have achieved things in my career I never thought possible, but part of me has always held on to that dream of racing in red. I couldn’t be happier to realise that dream today.

The 2025 F1 season will begin in March with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
