F1 fans stunned by Las Vegas GP drinks prices as staggering cost of one round revealed

The Las Vegas Grand Prix promises to be one of the biggest events on the sporting calendar.

The prices for drinks at the Las Vegas Grand Prix have been revealed ahead of the race on Sunday.

After a two-week break on the back of a triple header in the United States and South America, F1 returned on Thursday with the Las Vegas Grand Prix practice sessions.

The event held around Sin City promises to be one of the biggest events on the sporting calendar, with multiple A-list celebrities expected to be spotted in and around the paddock.

Ahead of the weekend, prices for drinks at the Grand Prix have been revealed.

How much are drinks at the Las Vegas Grand Prix?

As revealed by F1 photographer Kym Illman in his YouTube video, the drinks menu has been split into different categories - Specialty Cocktails, Beer, Spirits, Energy, and Non-Alcoholic Beverages.

Firstly, soft drinks and bottles of water are free as they are included in the price paid for tickets.

However, other drinks will likely punch a hole into your wallet. For example, an energy drink will set you back $6 per can, with a range of different Red Bulls on offer.

The cheapest single cocktail is priced at $20, with the most expensive being $22.

If you would like to have a double shot of alcohol, drinks will range from $35 to $37.

In theory, a group of four will likely be spending around $80-$148 for just one round of drinks.

Higher-end cocktails that include drinks like Belvedere Vodka, Volcan Blanco Tequila, Woodinville Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Hennessy VS Cognac, Gin, Rum will cost $18 for a single and $28 for a double.

Finally, beers are priced at $14, with the non-alcoholic version being slapped with a $10 price tag.
