Jeremy Clarkson commented on a Formula One driver's performance and how he helped teach him skills he used at the Australian Grand Prix.
The opening race of the 2025 F1 season has taken place and Lando Norris claimed victory at Albert Park in Melbourne ahead of defending champion Max Verstappen.
The McLaren driver finished fewer than a second in a tight finish ahead of the Dutchman, who has won the last four drivers' titles in a row in a spell a dominance.

After Norris emerged victorious, it meant it is the first time Verstappen has not topped the standings for the first time since May 2022 with a lead which stretched more than 1,000 days.
Behind the top two, George Russell finished third in his Mercedes, ahead of new team-mate Kimi Antonelli who finished an impressive fourth on his F1 debut.
Alex Albon finished fifth for Williams with Lance Stroll and Nico Hulkenburg claiming sixth and seventh respectively for Aston Martin and Sauber.

Charles Leclerc finished eighth ahead of Norris' McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri, while Lewis Hamilton finished a disappointing tenth on his maiden race for Ferrari.
Piastri qualified second behind Norris and had been contending with his team-mate for the victory, only to spin off in difficult wet conditions and ended up on the grass before eventually returning to the track way down the order at his home race as a potential one-two finish for McLaren slipped away.

Speaking after the race following his recovery to ninth, Piastri said: "A disappointing result after a really positive weekend. I had the speed and I felt in very good shape to fight for the win.

"Unfortunately, at the end, I just lost it in the sudden rain. Thanks to the team for all their efforts and thanks to all the Australian fans who have given me so much good energy and support over the last few days. It means a lot."
Of his attempts to get back onto the track, he added: "I just was trying to stay in the race.
"Tried to go forwards and couldn’t, so good thing I spent some time in the off-season trying to learn how to reverse a tractor on Jeremy Clarkson’s farm, I think it came in handy today."
Piastri did indeed visit Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm following the conclusion of last season and spent some time attempting to reverse a tractor with a trailer attached to it into a space in a barn.

And Clarkson made reference to the visit on social media as he offered other F1 drivers the opportunity to learn the skills which Piastri put to good use.
He wrote: "F1 drivers: If you want to learn how to reverse off road, give me a call. It certainly helped @OscarPiastri today."
Responding to someone who questioned this, Clarkson responded: "We have the video. And he said it in an interview."
