Michael van Gerwen has revealed why he always wears green when he plays darts.
Van Gerwen returns to Ally Pally for tonight's 2025 World Darts Championship final against Luke Littler.
He's aiming to win his first world title since 2019 when he beat Michael Smith.
Van Gerwen, who's often referred to as the 'Green Machine', will be sporting his iconic green shirt when he resumes his campaign.

Why is the Dutchman synonymous with the colour green? Well, speaking in an old interview, he revealed why he always wears a green shirt.
"The green shirt is part of me. Everyone knows me in green," he explained.
"Sometimes when I’m walking in the street people stop me and say; 'I didn’t recognise you without your darts shirt'.
"It’s not that I picked the green colour just that I used it once and felt comfortable.

"It’s not even my favourite colour! My favourite colour is blue."
Van Gerwen, who has won three world titles in his illustrious career, faces Littler, who has been dubbed the 'Prince of the Palace'.
The teenage phenom fell at the last hurdle 12 months ago as he looks to claim his first world title.

The 35-year-old, though, will be seeking to stop Littler but insists the 17-year-old is destined to enjoy a bright future.
"Luke has a very bright future ahead of him. We all know that, but you still want to stop him, and you have to do the right things against him, which is what I did tonight," he said.
"His scoring power is immense so you have to keep on fighting, but I am glad that I was able to."
Van Gerwen has beaten James Hurrell, Brendan Dolan, Jeffrey de Graaf, Callan Rydz and Chris Dobey to reach the final while Littler has seen off Ryan Meikle, Ian White, Ryan Joyce, Nathan Aspinall and Stephen Bunting to book his spot.
