Darts fans can't believe what's just happened in Luke Littler's Premier League match against Stephen Bunting

The 18-year-old wowed fans with his performance on Thursday evening.

Luke Littler left fans stunned by what he did in his Premier League Darts quarter-final against Stephen Bunting.

Night four of the tournament took place at the Westpoint Arena in Exeter as Littler, 18, took on Bunting, 39, in a repeat of the PDC World Darts Championship final, which the youngster won back in early January.

Littler, the reigning champion of the Premier League, put in an impressive performance, finishing with a 6-3 victory over Bunting.

And fans were left stunned by what the 18-year-old did during the game.

Littler hit ten 180s and ended the game with an average of 112.34 while Bunting averaged 105 and hit six 180s, which proved to be no match for the teenager.

Fans gave their thoughts on Littler's performance on social media

One said: "I am running out of words to describe how good Luke Littler is, it’s just ridiculous."

Another added: "Absolutely ridiculous how easy he makes this game look, it really is reminiscent of a young Ronnie O’Sullivan in snooker back in the day. Talents like this don’t come along very often that’s for sure."

A third commented: "What a game that was one of the best I’ve seen in a while."

While a fourth explained: "You'll win most games with a 105 average. Not against Littler though...Insanely high quality game!"

As a fifth praised: "I’ve been watching darts since early '70s he’s the best 180 hitter there’s ever been, what a talent."

Littler's victory saw him progress to a semi-final clash with Nathan Aspinall, which he won 6-2. He is set to face Luke Humphries in the final, after 'Cool Hand' beat Rob Cross 6-5 in the last four.

The Warrington-born player was brimming with confidence as he finished with a bullseye against Aspinall.

And the youngster's hefty ambitions for 2025 are no secret having previously claimed that the Premier League is the 'biggest' title aside from the World Championships.

"Ever since last year, I know these players are going to have to pull it out of the bag to beat me," said Littler earlier this month.

"This is probably the biggest one I'm going to defend all round until it comes to the World Championships."
