Darts fans are shocked after noticing that Luke Littler has changed his throw.
Littler returned to BetMGM Premier League Darts action on Thursday when he took on Peter Wright in Newcastle.
The 17-year-old has surged to stardom over the last two months after he produced a sensational run to the final of the PDC World Darts Championship final at Alexandra Palace last month.

After failing to win any of the opening three nights of the Premier League Darts, fans noticed that Littler made a change to his throwing technique during his match against Wright.
Littler wowed the crowd and TV viewers alike when he hit a 170 to take a 3-2 lead.
As he did so, hundreds of fans took to social media to comment on the youngster's new throw.

Another provided further analysis: "Slight change in Luke Littler's throw tonight, setting the dart in front before releasing on occasions. Doesn't look as smooth."

Another eagled-eyed viewer said: "Luke Littler has seemingly adapted his faster pace of play by adding a little pause in his throw without affecting rhythm.. it’s amazing how mature he is to adapt to a slower pace of play depending on the opponent, not many young players would manage it."
One fan wrote on X: "Luke Littler changes his cue action and is still ridiculously handy at darts."
Meanwhile, another viewer shared what they want to see Littler do next: "I want to see him attempt the Co Stompe throw next week. Not many players can master the GOAT's throw."
