Luke Littler's actions during the last leg of his Premier League Darts clash against Michael van Gerwen spoke volumes after the Dutchman's recent comments about him.
Van Gerwen claimed that the PDC needed to 'stop treating him [Littler] like a baby' after claiming the reigning world champion arrived 45 minutes late to a Premier League press event.
Littler later apologised and confirmed he had been given a stern telling off from event organisers.

The comments made for an interesting build-up to the first week of Premier League action which, naturally, saw Littler face off against Van Gerwen in the quarter-finals.
The Dutchman missed three match darts in the 10th leg but ultimately came on top via a 6-5 scoreline to progress to the semi-final.
But what Littler did during the closing stages of the final leg caught fans' attention.
Fans inside the SSE Arena in Belfast were heard jeering Van Gerwen as he threw match darts.

But Littler could be seen to be gesturing towards them to stop - proving that there are no hard feelings between the pair over Van Gerwen's comments.
They then shared an embrace after 'Mighty Mike' secured victory, with Littler raising his opponent's arm towards the crowd.
The Van Gerwen vs Littler classic followed what had already been a high quality evening of Premier League action on night one, with Chris Dobey and Rob Cross securing victories over Gerwyn Price and Stephen Bunting respectively in Belfast.

And the third match was also notable for the return to commentary of Wayne Mardle, who missed the World Darts Championship after his wife Donna passed away aged 52 following a short illness.
After the match had ended, Mardle took to Twitter to deliver a simple three-word message to his followers, followed by a heart emoji: "I needed that!"
