Footage of Freddie Flintoff's horrific accident while filming Top Gear has been shown for the first time in a trailer for a new documentary.
Back in December 2022, former cricket star Flintoff was taken to the hospital following a huge accident while filming for a new series of Top Gear.
At the time, Flintoff hosted the show alongside Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris.

The horrifying accident, which happened at the Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey, left Flintoff with broken ribs and facial injuries.
Flintoff decided afterwards that he was not able to continue with his role on Top Gear and eventually came to a settlement of £9 million with the BBC over the incident.
Now, almost three years after the accident, footage of the incident will be made public in a new documentary. You can watch the trailer below.
Flintoff will be speaking about his near-fatal crash in a new Disney+ documentary simply titled 'Flintoff'.

The 47-year-old was heard saying in the trailer: "I remember everything about it… it’s so vivid.
"I’ve lived under the radar for seven months, one of the real frustrations was the speculation, that’s why I’m doing this now, (about) what actually happened."
Last year, Flintoff touched on the accident in his 'Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams' show.
He said: "I genuinely should not be here after what happened. This will be a long road back and I’ve only just started, I’m stuck already.

"I need help, and I realise I’m not the best at asking for it. I need to stop crying every two minutes. I’ve got to look at the positives, haven’t I? I’m still here, I’ve got another chance, I’ve got to go at it. I’m seeing that as how it is, a second go."

Former Top Gear host Steve Berry also slammed the show while speaking to GB News last year.
Berry, who hosted the show from 1993 to 1996 said: “The difference back when I did it was they used to appoint motoring journalists. I was completely aware of the dangers that could often occur. I was under no illusion.

“The problem for me with the modern Top Gear is you’re asking a cricketer to do things that really should be done by people who know what they’re doing. But it’s the viewer that’s the problem.”
