City enter the game in second place in the Premier League as Arsenal dropped their first points of the season in a 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford.

After losing to Chelsea in the Champions League final in 2021, City reached the semi-final in Europe's elite club competition last season after getting past Sporting Lisbon and Atletico Madrid in the Round of 16 and quarter final stages.
A dramatic win over Real Madrid in the opening leg of the semi final was followed by a late collapse at the Santiago Bernabeu, where City went ahead but conceded thrice to crash out at the penultimate stage of the competition.
City remain hot in their pursuit of a maiden Champions League title in Pep Guardiola's seventh season at the Etihad Stadium.
