Riyad Mahrez is poised to sign a fresh long-term deal with Manchester City ahead of the upcoming campaign, as per reports.
Manchester City, who look set to lose forwards Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling to Premier League rivals this summer, are believed to be in talks to secure the services of Riyad Mahrez for a further three years.
Mahrez moved to the Etihad Stadium from Leicester City for £60 million in 2018 and has since made189 appearances and won eight trophies at the Etihad Stadium, including three Premier League titles.

The 31-year-old, whose current contract at City expires in 2023, has been subject to interest from elite clubs across Europe, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain.
Mahrez has played a particularly key role for Pep Guardiola’s side in the Champions League, being directly involved in nine goals in 12 appearances last season and helping the Blues to a maiden Champions League final the year before.
The Algerian scored 24 goals and assisted on nine further occasions last season, as Manchester City beat Liverpool to win their fourth Premier League title under Pep Guardiola.

According to a new report by 90min, Mahrez is ready to commit his long-term future to the Sky Blues after another successful and economical campaign in Manchester.
Contract talks are understood to be progressing between the Premier League champions and Mahrez's camp over a new three-year deal.
Having opened contract extension talks at the end of last season, Mahrez is now claimed to have informed officials at the Etihad Stadium of his desire to remain at the club.

There are hopes the four-time Premier League winner could pen a new deal before the start of the new league season in August.
City begin their Premier League title defence away to West Ham at the London Stadium next month and are mooted to be offering Mahrez a three-year extension, with the option for an additional year.

It is believed Mahrez is settled in the north-west and is ready to turn down interest from several European heavyweights to prolong his stay at City beyond 2023.
