Manchester City fly to the southern region of Spain as they begin their 2022/23 Champions League campaign against Sevilla.
The Group Stages haven’t proved too arduous for the Premier League Champions in recent years.
Last year, the Cityzens only dropped points against the German-side RB Leipzig, and the Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint Germain - who eventually joined the Mancunian side in advancing to the knockout stages.

This year, the Sky Blues have been drawn into Group G, alongside Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and FC Copenhagen.
City have had a promising and unbeaten start to the season, unlike their opponents Sevilla, who are yet to win in La Liga this season.
The Blues’ most recent fixture was against Aston Villa, and proved to be a challenge similar to the meeting between the two at the conclusion of last season.
Erling Haaland’s acrobatic tap-in the 49th minute, which was his 10th goal in six games, was not enough to secure the three points for the Champions, as Leon Bailey levelled the game in the 74th minute.

To add to Pep Guardiola’s frustrations, Kyle Walker was forced off in the second-half through injury.
The England full-back joins Aymeric Laporte and John Stones, with the defensive trio all absent from the Blues’ travelling squad on Monday due to injury.
One player who could be returning though is forward Jack Grealish, who has been sidelined after suffering an injury against AFC Bournemouth in August.

Sevilla play host to the Cityzens, after what has been a difficult start to their domestic campaign, failing to register a win in four games.
Their most recent loss came at the hands of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinia, and Eric Garcia, as Barcelona cruised past Sevilla with a 3-0 win on Saturday.
