Brighton left-back Marc Cucurella is only interested in signing for Manchester City.
City have made big moves throughout the transfer window so far, acquiring Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United, and Julian Alvarez from River Plate.
A consistent theme amongst these transfers is their youthfulness, which plays perfectly into the continued City transfer strategy.

One area in their squad which could use this treatment is at left-back, following the recent departure of Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The 25 year-old completed a £30 million move to Arsenal, ending a six-year stay at the Etihad Stadium.
In leaving the Premier League Champions, Zinchenko hopes to get more game-time in midfield, the position he occupies for Ukraine.

During the past season, apart from Zinchenko, the Blues mainly utilised Joao Cancelo at left-back - which Guardiola also did in their pre-season friendly win against Club America on Wednesday.
Guardiola has openly revealed that the Sky Blues are on the hunt for a new left-back, with Brighton star Marc Cucurella being one of the only players who the club reportedly want to sign.
Brighton have picked up on City’s urgency to sign the Spanish defender and have apparently put a price tag of £50 million on Cucurella.
The Premier League Champions have suggested that they don’t want to pay the full asking price, with their most recent offer of £30 million being rejected by the Seagulls.
Talks remain ongoing between the two sides, and according to Fabrizio Romano, Cucurella opened up to staff members at the South Coast club about his desire to leave and make a move to the Etihad if a “good offer” is made.

Romano also claims that Cucurella only wants to join Manchester City.
During the 2021/22 season, Cucurella played a big part in Graham Potter’s defence, performing so well that he was named Brighton’s Player of the Season.
If City fail to acquire Cucurella, Benfica left back Alex Grimaldo is claimed to have been offered to the Blues, as reported by Mark Douglas.
During his previous campaign with the Portuguese side, Grimaldo found the back of the net five times, while also assisting in five goals.
