Manchester City have joined the race to sign a highly-rated Borussia Dortmund forward, according to fresh reports.
New reports from the Football Insider say the Premier League champions are targeting the signature of 17-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko, after their successful capture of Moukoko’s ex-team mate, Erling Haaland.
City’s recruitment team are keeping a close eye on Moukoko who is attracting a lot of attention from some of football’s biggest clubs.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola had first hand experience of seeing the teenage sensation in action, in last week's 0-0 draw against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, where Moukoko started and played 82 minutes in the centre-forward role.
Reports from Football Insider revealed that Liverpool were interested in the Dortmund striker after being impressed with the impact he has made at the club at such a young age.
It has also been revealed that the Germany U21 forward has agreed to join an England-based agency, Unique Sports Management, when he turns 18.

The agency already has clients such as Reece James and Anthony Gordon and are said to have a solid plan in place for the youngster, who is regarded as one of football’s hottest prospects right now.
According to the new reports, Moukoko is firmly on the radar of City’s scouts who are tasked with finding the world’s most exciting youngsters.
It is reported that alongside Liverpool; Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also closely monitoring the progress of the Dortmund forward, and it is not hard to see why the world’s elite are watching.
He became the youngest player in Bundesliga history when he came on as a late substitute on 21st November, 2020, when he came on to replace current City striker Erling Haaland.

Since then he has continued to develop his footballing ability and has already amassed 55 appearances for Dortmund and has become a regular starter.
Moukoko has already made 18 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing 6 assists.
The teenger has already helped Dortmund qualify for the Champions League knockout stages and will also be looking to keep Dortmund in the race for the Bundesliga title.

The German side currently sit in 4th place, four points behind surprise early leaders Union Berlin.
Manchester City did business twice with Dortmund this summer, signing both Haaland and Manuel Akanji.
Haaland completed a £51 million move while Akanji signed on Deadline Day for an initial £15 million.
