Following a thrashing of Manchester United at the weekend, Manchester City now play host to FC Copenhagen in matchday three of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Manchester City’s domestic campaign has been nothing short of spectacular, having not recorded a loss throughout the first nine weeks of the season.
Their most recent fixture, the Manchester Derby, was just another footnote in the reigning Premier League champions’ impressive season to date.

The Sky Blues' dismantling of Manchester United was a combined effort from the whole squad, with exceptional performances from both Erling Haaland and Phil Foden in particular.
Both forwards scored a hat-trick which helped Manchester City’s lead climb to 6-3 by full-time.
For Erling Haaland, it would be his third straight Premier League hat-trick - which ties him with greats such as Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min.

Manchester City's reign of dominance is not just limited to the Premier League either, as they remain undefeated in Group G of the UEFA Champions League.
However, their last game against Borussia Dortmund proved to be a challenge for the English side as they trailed 1-0 deep into the second-half.
This was before John Stones levelled the game with a screamer from distance, before Erling Haaland put his side ahead with an audacious acrobatic effort.

On the other side of the ticket sits FC Copenhagen, who currently find themselves tied for bottom of Group G with Sevilla, who they clashed with for the first time this season in September.
Their battle ended in a draw, which provided the Danish side with the only points they currently possess in the Champions League group stage.
Despite having Aymeric Laporte making his way back to the pitch during the Manchester Derby, the injury bug is never too far away from Pep Guardiola’s squad as Kyle Walker sustained a problem against United.
Rodri is a welcome return this week, with the Spanish midfielder resuming training with the squad on Tuesday afternoon after missing the weekend's clash with a calf problem.
Where?
The European clash between Manchester City and Copenhagen this week will take place at the Etihad Stadium.
When?
The battle is set to kick off on Wednesday 5th October at 20:00 BST.
