The Carabao Cup Final is scheduled to take place on Sunday 26th February 2023, and on Wednesday evening, City discovered their first opponents for this season's competition.
The Premier League Champions are one of seven top-flight teams to receive a bye into the third round, with the Blues playing Barcelona in a charity friendly on Wednesday night, as opposed to competing in the second round of the competition.
City's imperious winning streak in the competition came to an end last October, as West Ham beat the Blues on penalties at the London Stadium.
This year, Guardiola's side will kick-off their pursuit of League Cup silverware against Chelsea.

The Blues will welcome last season's runners up to the Etihad Stadium in November.
Fixtures are scheduled to be played the week commencing Monday 7th November - taking place shortly before the Premier League pauses for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Blues have played the London giants on 171 previous occasions, and have won the past two Premier League meetings 1-0.
City's Carabao Cup clash against Chelsea will come either side of Premier League fixtures against Fulham and Brentford.
