Manchester City are set to formally announce the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in the next week or so, according to a new report.
The Premier League champions secured the signing of the Norway international for a reported initial fee of £51 million after seeing off competition from the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
With Haaland set to officially join his new side on July 1, the club have so far only released a brief statement on their official website and major social media platforms confirming an agreement with Borussia Dortmund over the 21-year-old's transfer.

After passing an additional fitness test in Barcelona following a medical in Brussels, Haaland flew to Manchester a few weeks ago and was reported to have had dinner with a few members of the Manchester City board later that evening.
The following morning, the young forward is believed to have spent the early hours completing media duties and in-house interviews at the City Football Academy and was even pictured exploring the world-class training facilities boasted by the club he supported as a child and whom his father Alf-Inge represented between 2000 and 2003.
Though sources close to the Premier League champions have recently suggested Erling Haaland is not expected in Manchester until the start of July, the club will soon make a formal announcement about the signing and are subsequently expected to release content from his first interview as a Manchester City player.

According to a new report by Mark Douglas of iNews, the Blues will formally unveil Erling Haaland as a Manchester City player in the next week or so - just around a month after the confirmation of an agreement with Dortmund.
However, it is yet to be known when the star signing will be presented to Manchester City fans amid question marks over what shirt number Haaland will be offered when he does arrive.
The Norwegian is set to link up with Pep Guardiola and his new teammates for pre-season alongside River Plate's Julian Alvarez, who will arrive to the Etihad Stadium as one of the most exciting talents in south America.

After failing in their long-drawn pursuit of Tottenham and England talisman Harry Kane last summer, Manchester City have acted early in the transfer market and closed a deal for arguably the deadliest young striker in world football.
Since he joined Borussia Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020, the Leeds-born star has established himself as one of the finest finishers across Europe and despite the existing attacking talent at Pep Guardiola's disposal, Haaland will prove to be a significant addition for the Premier League giants.
The signing of Erling Haaland is likely to pave the way for Gabriel Jesus to leave amid widespread interest, with Raheem Sterling's future also looking uncertain as the England forward prepares for contract talks with City after returning from international duty.
