Manchester City and England international midfielder Kalvin Phillips is set to star in a brand new documentary produced by video giants, Amazon.
The Premier League champions completed a blockbuster move for the central midfielder during the most recent summer transfer window.

However, it was ultimately the pull of top-level football and working under Pep Guardiola that swung the mindset of Kalvin Phillips.
Life at the Etihad Stadium hasn't got as smoothly, with the Yorkshireman having struggled with a shoulder problem.
Nevertheless, the rise in the game has been nothing short of exemplary from the 26 year-old, and one that has now been picked up by world-renowned documentary, film, and live content producers, Amazon.

According to the information of the Mail's Mike Keegan, the Manchester City midfielder is set to be the subject of an Amazon documentary about his life and career.
It is further explained that the new production is set to chronicle Kalvin Phillips' 'rise from humble beginnings' in Leeds, to the top of the game at Champions League-competing Manchester City.
The Mail also reveal that Amazon will explore Phillips' relationship with his father Mark - who has missed most of his son’s success in the professional game due to being in prison.

In terms of release dates for the new feature, it is stated that Amazon were hoping to release the documentary before the World Cup.
However, Kalvin Phillips' shoulder injury and subsequent prolonged period of rehabilitation and recovery put a delay on the publication.
The former Leeds United midfielder has been named in Gareth Southgate's 26-man squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Joining up with his England teammates on Monday, Phillips will now be hoping to build up fitness after only just recovering from shoulder surgery.
Since sustaining the problem, and undergoing surgery, Kalvin Phillips has only made one appearance for Manchester City.
Experiencing 40 minutes of the second-half, the £42 million man was a substitute in City's Carabao Cup third round tie against Chelsea last week.
