Erling Haaland's Manchester City release clause has now been revealed by a reliable source reporting on club-specific information.
The Norway international has been in staggering form since joining the Premier League champions in the summer window.
Scoring 19 goals in his opening 12 games for the club, added to by a further three assists, Erling Haaland is by far and away the most prolific footballer in the world at present.

However, the common concern throughout his time at the club this far - and a concern that is likely to remain for the coming months and years - is the details of his release clause.
It is understood that Manchester City have included such a clause into his Etihad Stadium contract, although any successful club in the race for the former Borussia Dortmund striker would have had to abide by such a request from Team Haaland.
This week, reports from Spain had claimed that a specific clause had been included relevant to Real Madrid.

However, that was swiftly denied by Manchester City themselves, who have stated firmly that there is no such club-specific release clause embedded in his contract.
Pep Guardiola himself also denied the idea this week, as he said, "There’s no specific clause for Erling Haaland to join Real Madrid, it’s not true."
Nevertheless, one reliable Manchester City source has revealed the details of the general release clause which has been included in his contract.
According to the information of Lu Martín, speaking to Què T'hi Jugues, Erling Haaland's release clause in his Manchester City contract is worth £200 million.

That clause becomes active from 2024.
Interestingly, it has also been stated that after that year, the release clause decreases in value.
There is of course the possibility that Erling Haaland and his team of representatives look to re-negotiate between now and that date, and in the process, raise the release clause in his deal.

Until then, many of Europe's premier clubs will wait patiently for their first real opportunity to sign the Manchester City striker.
Alongside City in the race for the 22 year-old earlier this year, the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona all showed a serious interest in the player.
The player's father, Alfie has also admitted to his son holding a desire to dominate the scene in all of Europe's top leagues throughout his playing career.

Speaking earlier this year, the former Manchester City icon said, "I think Erling wants to test out his capabilities in every league.
"Then he can stay in every league for three to four years maximum.
"He could have 2½ years in Germany, 2½ in England, and then in Spain, Italy, France, right?"
