In the past, the City Football Group have showcased a penchant for scouring South America to bolster their ranks with some of the continent’s finest talent.
With Endrick being one of the most highly-touted teenagers in world football, it comes as no surprise that the prodigy has been on the City Football Group's radar since January of this year.
As a host of top European sides chase the starlet’s signature, new details have revealed the due date that allows Manchester City’s parent company or the Premier League champions themselves to complete a much-awaited signing.

According to the latest information provided by journalist Jorge Nicola, as translated and relayed by Sport Witness, Endrick’s representatives and Palmeiras have set the summer of 2024 as the deadline for him to depart the club, after he turns 18 years-old.
It has also been mentioned that the Brazilian giants are ready to sell him as soon as possible, but only while adhering to the age-related regulations set by FIFA.
With the 15-year old’s release clause claimed to be €40 million at present, and capable of rising to €50 million as well as €60 million in years to come, completing a deal has been described as a lot more ‘likely’ due to the presence of such a clause.

Alongside the Premier League champions, other European heavyweights interested in signing the gifted striker include the likes of La Liga powerhouse duo Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as Manchester United.
It is worth pointing out that while there is no denying that Endrick’s ceiling is sky-high, it would be a staggering risk for City Football Group or Manchester City to pay such a sizeable release clause for a prospect who will have just two years of professional football under his belt before he is likely to bid farewell to Palmeiras.
Unless his addition is planned to be one that slots straight into the Manchester City first-team - which remains unlikely given the experience of the player at the very top of the sport, a move looks quite far-fetched from a City Football Group perspective, as things stand.
