Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva has praised the club’s fans and his teammates in a recent interview.
Silva’s future has been one of speculation for over a year now with the Portuguese midfielder rumoured to leave Manchester last summer to allow for funds to sign Tottenham forward Harry Kane.
The deal for Kane never materialised and Silva stayed and fought harder on the pitch, turning in some magnificent displays last season - against the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and cross city rivals Manchester United - whom he scored against away from home.

These performances helped City and Silva himself go on to win an impressive fourth Premier League title in five years, marking a sign of domestic dominance which has rarely been seen in England for quite some time.
Despite being one of Pep Guardiola’s top performing stars though, Silva has still found his future at the club somewhat up in the air with rumours circling of a switch to Spanish giants Barcelona on the cards.
Yet the Portuguese playmaker was quick to remind the footballing media just how much he likes being at City.

Speaking after City’s 2-1 pre-season victory over Mexican side Club America, Silva gave a defiant post match interview which nailed down his love for the club.
“For as long as I play for Manchester City, I will give always my best,” said Silva, as relayed by Football Daily.
“My relationship with the club, with the fans, with my teammates is fantastic and I will always respect that."

City took on Club America in the NRG Stadium, Houston as the first match of their pre-season tour of the United States.
Silva started the game which saw two first-half goals from fellow attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne prove enough to take home the spoils.
On Sunday, the Citizens will take on German champions Bayern Munich at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin in what is to be their next and final match of the tour.

The Portuguese magnifico will hope to feature and once again show his talents ahead of what is set to be another gruelling season for City as they challenge for trophies on all four fronts.
Since joining the Sky Blues in the summer of 2017, Silva has enjoyed a magnificent run to date, making 249 appearances and registering 98 goal contributions.
The 27-year-old will hope to add to the existing silverware he has won in Manchester next season, having claimed four Premier League titles, four Carabao Cups, two Community Shields and an FA Cup already to date.
