Bernardo Silva has provided a new response to fresh questions on his Manchester City future, following a summer of uncertainty for the Portugal international.
Across the duration of the most recent summer transfer window, Bernardo Silva was tied to several claims of an imminent Etihad exit.
The 28 year-old is understood to have become somewhat unhappy with his life off the pitch in Manchester, seeking a move back into Europe and closer to his home of Portugal.

The most interested party was Barcelona.
However, with financial constraints hampering the Camp Nou club, coupled with Manchester City's €100 million valuation of the player, no such move came to fruition in time.
There was an understanding in some quarters however that French giants Paris Saint-Germain showed a late interest in the player.

However, by that time in the market, Manchester City were left with little to no time to source a worthy replacement for a player that has been integral to their success over the last five seasons.
The former AS Monaco playmaker himself hinted at this exact scenario being the case back in early September.
Bernardo Silva said at the time, "There was one offer from one team, no more than that, so it was quite easy for me and for the club because the only offer came quite late.
"So for the club to find a replacement, it wouldn't be easy. There have been no offers from Spain," he said.

Now, speaking after the weekend's 3-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League, Bernardo Silva stressed his focus on the ongoing season and achieving success alongside his fellow Manchester City teammates.
However, there was a slight warning that clarity over his Etihad future would only come at the end of the season.
Silva said, "I have both eyes on winning the Premier League, and trying to win the Champions League, Carabao and FA Cup.

"At the end of the season, we'll see what happens," he continued.
"But right now, I’m going to give my best for the club and will give my best as long as I play here."
It remains to be seen what will happen in the near future regarding Bernardo Silva's future.

La Liga's Barcelona are expected to retain their interest come the start of the 2023 summer transfer window, however there remains a willingness from Manchester City's side to open fresh talks over a new contract for the player.
