IBF cruiserweight champion Mairis Briedis has got a tattoo on his leg to call out Jake Paul for a fight. You can see what Briedis went for below.
YouTuber turned boxing star Paul is now 5-0 in the sport after knocking out Tyron Woodley in December.
His next opponent is yet to be named but Briedis, regarded as one of the best active fighters in the world, is clearly interested.
In a recently filmed video, 'The Latvian Punisher' says: "Today we will make some crazy scenes. Let's go and see what's happening Jake.'
What follows is Briedis entering a tattoo parlour and running through the design he wants with an artist before taking his seat in the chair.
"Hey Jake, I've got something for you," Briedis says while getting the front of his thigh tattooed.
"Jake, now it's your turn," the 36-year-old says as the camera zooms in on his new ink.
The design is a bull with red eyes and 'Jake Paul's Bad Karma' above and below the head.
Paul has previously been offered a world title fight against Briedies, who has reigned since September 2020.
One key condition proposed by promoter Kalle Sauerland was that Paul would have to permanently retire from the sport.
The Wasserman Boxing honcho tweeted back in May: "Hey @jakepaul - happy to arrange you taking a shot at Mairis Briedis belts, only condition if you lose you have to leave boxing...deal?"
Briedis is a massive step up in competition boasting an impressive record of 28-1.
Paul has talked up the idea of retirement himself in recent days, in a feud with UFC president Dana White.
'The Problem Child' said he'd walk away from the squared circle if he was guaranteed a fight with Jorge Masvidal in the Octagon.
He recently posted footage of himself training leg kicks in the gym and tagged Bellator as well as PFL in the post.
It's unlikely he'll get his wish to fight Masvidal, but a shot at a boxing world title? Stranger things have happened.
