Mike Tyson once named the boxing legend he most wanted to face from any era.
Tyson enjoyed an iconic boxing career, winning the world heavyweight title, aged just 20, when he stopped Trevor Berbick to claim the famous green and gold WBC title.
In his professional career, 'Iron' Mike fought the likes of Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, Frank Bruno, Buster Douglas and Evander Holyfield.

He scored big wins over Holmes, Spinks and Bruno but succumbed to Douglas in one of the biggest upsets in boxing history. He also suffered back-to-back defeats to Holyfield, with their second fight ending in a disqualification after Tyson bit his opponent's ear.
Years after his initial retirement from the sport, Tyson joined Steve Farhood on ShoBox and was asked about a dream fight from any era of boxing.
Tyson opted for Floyd Mayweather, who reigned as the pound-for-pound king during his professional career.

Farhood laughed and said he 'loved' the answer before Tyson explained his choice.
He said: "Well, I would love to have fought him. I wish he was my weight. We can never fight, of course, because of the weight difference, but I wouldn’t fight him the way they fought him."
Mayweather went unbeaten during his decorated career, recording an impressive record of 50-0 before walking away from the sport.
He beat the likes of Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacquiao before registering the 50th win of his career against UFC fighter Conor McGregor.

Tyson and Mayweather don't necessarily see eye-to-eye and were involved in a fiery exchange at a WBC convention.
The former world heavyweight champion also hit out at 'Money' for claiming he was better than the late, great Muhammad Ali.
"He’s very delusional," he exclaimed. "Listen, if he was anywhere near that realm of great as Muhammad Ali, he’d be able to take his kids to school by himself.

“OK, he can’t take his kids to school by himself, and he’s talking about he’s great? Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people. It’s being accepted by the people. He can’t take his kids alone to school by himself.
“He’s a little scared man. He’s a very small, scared man."
