Fury had an immediate reaction to the fight

Fans have been shocked after spotting Tyson Fury’s immediate X-rated reaction to Anthony Joshua’s defeat to Daniel Dubois last night.

The boxer was caught ringside remonstrating over the loss, as he seems to have given away that plans were in place for the two to face off if he managed to beat Dubois.

Joshua lost to Dubois last night, September 21, in a British mega-fight at Wembley Stadium.

He lost the fight in the fifth round, with the IBF World Heavyweight Champion Dubois knocking AJ out in a shock defeat for the Watford-born fighter.

Fury has a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk set for December 21 of this year.

Joshua was expected to come up against the winner in 2025 if he won against Dubois.

With the potential of a unification champion vs champion fight on the line it would have been a massive fight if Joshua won.

If it was Fury he was set to come up against, this would be a fight that has been years in the making, with fans having begged for the two to face off for a while.

Fury was spotted at ringside however, saying: “That’s cost me 150 million, the silly c**t”.

One fan responded saying: “That's what happens when you let a fight 'marinate' for far too long. Should have happened about 3 years ago, instead Joshua has lost 3 times and Fury has lost his last fight”

Despite his foul-mouthed reaction to the loss, Fury showed sympathy for Joshua when asked by reporters as he left the stadium.

He said: “It’s heavyweight boxing, s**t happens, you get knocked spark out.

“It could have been me. In the heavyweight division, it’s what happens.”

“What went wrong is what always happens in heavyweight boxing. A good right hand on the end of the chin, and that was it."

When asked about the possibility of Joshua retiring he said: “I don’t know. It’s up to the man and whatever he wants to do.

"If he has good ambitions to come back again, he can make his own decisions. He’s a big boy.”

Joshua has come out post-fight and stated he has no plans to retire, with Eddie Hearn claiming he will likely be activating a rematch clause against Dubois.
