The press conference hosted by Jake Paul and Nate Diaz took an interesting turn when a member of the media thought it'd be a genius idea to call out the former UFC star.
Unsurprisingly, it didn't end well and he was seemingly sacked on the spot – by Jake Paul.
Yes, it turns out the idiot-in-question works for Paul's Betr Betting company and was disguising himself as a member of the media.

We're still unsure whether this was a planned stunt or not, but either way, it clearly didn't end too well for the bloke who now finds himself unemployed.
The press conference at American Airlines Arena was chaotic to say the least.
At one point, Diaz just randomly stood up out of his chair and walked off stage to go to the bathroom.

As for Paul, he was up to his usual cringeworthy tricks.
But the entire event took a truly bizarre turn when host Ariel Helwani threw over to the media for questions, which was when a journalist called out Nate and his brother Nick to a fight.
“Nate I’m actually a boxer myself and I have been trying to get on this undercard, I’m just wondering if you think I could fight your brother, Nick?

“If he’s anything like you I think I’d beat his f**king a**.”
Diaz was far from impressed.
“You know my homeboys see you right now,” he replied.
“That was stupid, huh? That was stupid. What’s your name?”

To which the man responded: “Derrick from Betr Media”.
Those inside the press conference let out a few giggles, but Diaz wasn't finished with humiliating the guy.
“Hey, Derrick from Betr Media, you’re a stupid a** motherf**ker,” the MMA icon added.

“The f**k? You deserve to have your a** whipped.”
Interestingly, Paul then decided to intervene, revealing that the reporter actually worked for him.
“He works for my company,” Paul said.
“I’ll handle that later. I’ll fire him later. I’m sorry about that Nate.
“Derrick, shut up. Derrick, shut up.”
The press conference then just continued on with the bloke awkwardly sitting in his seat very tight-lipped – probably praying that he still had a job or that he wasn't going to run into the Diaz brothers backstage.
It remains unknown whether Paul 'fired' the guy, but regardless, it's a stunt he'll probably think twice about signing up to next time – if there is a next time, of course.
