A kickboxer suffered a brutal injury during a fight when several of his front teeth were knocked out by a single punch.
Facial injuries aren't uncommon in boxing, with even the legendary Floyd Mayweather having his tooth knocked out during a fight against Marcos Maidana in 2014.
But kickboxer Ulric Bokeme suffered a worse incident at GLORY Collision 5 in the Netherlands, when he took on Michael Boapeah.

The Swiss-Cameroonian, who is 32 years of age, entered the fight with a 32-3 record in kickboxing, having signed with GLORY back in 2019.
It was just his second fight in three-and-a-half years - and Boapeah started the fight on top.
Then, with just a minute remaining in the first round, Bokeme took a punch to the mouth before immediately recoiling and turning back to his corner.
He then gestured towards his mouth, before spitting out his mouthguard - with his teeth then visible on the mat. You can watch the incident below.

The referee called off the fight just seconds later - and there was initial confusion amongst the commentary team on site as to exactly what had happened.
But the cameraman spotted several of Bokeme's front teeth on the mat, which was the cause of the stoppage.
The 32-year-old looked to be frustrated with the referee's decision, although he understandably appeared to be in huge pain after the horrific incident.
Beyond Kickboxing then added more context to the blow on Twitter, as well as a close-up shot of Bokeme's mouth which showed several teeth missing: "Brutal start to the main card. Ulric Bokeme just got his front row of teeth knocked out against Michael Boapeah.

"He told his corner he couldn't continue because some went down his throat."
It was the kickboxer's first loss by technical knockout and retirement - and he'll certainly be hoping to never have a repeat occurrence in the future.
