Eddie Hall and Hafthor Björnsson are gearing up to take their feud into the ring with their upcoming fight. The two World’s Strongest Man title winners have broken some impressive records, all the while carrying a huge amount of pent up beef between them, which calls as far back as Hall’s win at the Strongest Man competition in 2017.
Their feud was publicised as ‘The Mountain’ Björnsson managed to deadlift 501 kg, overtaking Hall’s already impressive 500kg record. The fact that Thor’s deadlift was carried out at his home gym in Iceland caused Hall to state that the feat should not be officially considered, as it didn’t take place at an official competition.
When Thor completed his massive lift, he challenged Hall to a boxing fight to settle their beef for good. The pair have been training since April 2020, and will soon be stepping into the ring for the highly anticipated fight.
