Paris Fury gives heartbreaking response when asked about Tyson Fury cutting her off for months ahead of Oleksandr Usyk rematch

Paris Fury gives heartbreaking response when asked about Tyson Fury cutting her off for months ahead of Oleksandr Usyk rematch

Fury hasn't spoken to his family for 'weeks and weeks' in the lead-up to the fight.

Paris Fury gave a heartbreaking response when asked about her husband Tyson Fury cutting her off for three months before his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury takes on Usyk in their second heavyweight encounter in second months on Saturday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

'The Gypsy King' lost the first fight via split decision in May, in what was the first defeat of his professional career.

He weighed in at a career heavy 20st 1lbs on Friday - a full four pounds heavier than Usyk.

The pair will make history in Saudi Arabia as a fourth, AI-powered judge will be at ringside.

The judge will analyse movements, punches and data from the fight to create each fighter's score for every round, but it will not contribute to the official scorecard.

Another talking point in the build-up to the fight was Fury's revelation that he had not spoken to wife Paris in three months, such was his focus on preparation as he looks to avenge his defeat to Usyk in May.

She will be present in Saudi Arabia to watch the highly-anticipated bout - and iFL TV asked her about whether Fury's claims about cutting himself off from the family were true.

She replied: "Yes, it's true.

"I think after the last fight, everything that went on previously, personally in our lives and then Tyson obviously had the outcome last time, I just think he decided this on his own. And I had to support him in it.

"He didn't want to be involved in family life so he's cut himself off from us for the last few months. He's put himself in a serious, serious condition and he looks very, very determined.

"So if it's what needed to be, then God willing tomorrow night it will all come out and it will all be good and all worthwhile.

"It's been very difficult, I can't lie. I supported him in the decision but it wasn't the greatest thing to sit and not speak to your husband for a long time.

"But I'm looking at him - it was the first time I saw him [at the weigh-in], we still haven't spoke. I can see I think, in my heart, it has paid off. The dedication that he's got there, and the concentration, and I can see it in his eyes, that nothing else matters apart from this fight tomorrow night."
