Turki Alalshikh has brutally shot down Jake Paul when responding to the rumours he would be fighting boxing legend Canelo Alvarez this year.
On Tuesday, reports began to emerge that Youtuber-turned-boxer Paul had finally achieved his dream fight by sealing a deal to face unified super middleweight world champion Alvarez in May.
Immediately the news was met with backlash from several of the biggest names in the sport, including Saudi boxing chief Alalshikh, who has had several ups and downs with the boxing legend in recent months.

But now, the boxing promoter has hit out at Paul, suggesting a new opponent for the influencer after confirming the news that he would not be facing Alvarez in the near future.
After hearing whispers of the Alvarez v Paul fight, Alalshikh immediately phoned the Mexican champion and tied him down to a lucrative four-fight deal with Riyadh Season.
When the news was confirmed, the 43-year-old spoke with ESPN about the deal and aimed a brutal dig at the American YouTuber.

"I think Canelo is too young, you can have it in 30 years when you are 60," Alalshikh admitted.
“I have good advice for them. Let them bring Mr Beast and we can sanction it with Disney for the belt of YouTube. Everyone will subscribe and watch it."
The Saudi boxing chief then claimed that during his call with Canelo, the champion admitted that he didn't want to fight Paul ever, but insisted that he had to fight in May ahead of his superfight with Terrence Crawford later this year.

"It was big offer for him and I don't match this offer to be honest but he knows inside that this match is not right for his legacy," revealed Alalshikh.
"And when I called him, he's a smart guy he knows what's better for him
"In my opinion we must have this kind of a legend fight great and big fights because he's now in the mid 30s, we don't want to waste time."
He continued by claiming that Canelo will only fight 'real fighters', prompting a furious rant on social media from Paul who called the champion a 'slave' and 'a money hungry squirrel chasing your next nut'.
