Jake Paul has taken to social media to allegedly 'expose' previously unseen details of the contract signed with Canelo Alvarez for a bout in the boxing ring - and the Mexican has now responded.
The 28-year-old appeared to have sealed a deal to face unified super middleweight world champion Alvarez in May earlier in the week after reports emerged that a meeting in the boxing ring had been arranged.
However, that now appears to no longer be the case after Alvarez has been tied to a lucrative four-fight deal with Riyadh Season.

Canelo has a remarkable 66 professional boxing bouts under his belt and has 62 wins, two draws and only two losses in that time, both of which were by decision.
YouTuber Paul meanwhile has taken part in a dozen professional boxing matches and boasts a record of 11 victories and only one defeat which came at the hands of Tommy Fury in February 2023.
Paul's last bout was in November 2024 when he defeated Mike Tyson at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which he won by unanimous decision against the aging former heavyweight champion who is some 30 years older than him.

The bout against Tyson drew a fair deal of criticism owing to the age gap between the two fighters, but with Alvarez only 34, the potential fight against the Mexican would have been a much closer age range.

But now that fight appears to be off the cards and Paul has taken to social media with a video in which he claims to show several details about the shelved bout.
In the video entitled 'exposing Canelo', Paul shows a contract with signatures allegedly from both fighters which is dated January 2025 and was due to be announced next week.

A poster is also displayed with both Paul and Alvarez on it, advertising the fight which was due to be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 3.
Paul embarked on a rant where he 'exposes' Alvarez and sends several barbs in the Mexican fighter's direction, accusing him of simply seeking vast sums of money, calling his loyalty into question and vowing any fight he does this year will be bigger than his.
He said: "Time to expose him. We had a signed contract to fight. Here you can see Canelo's signature and my signature to the right.

"He's claiming he's not fighting YouTubers - bulls**t - look at the poster.
"We were announcing on Tuesday, February 11.
"The truth is, you can be bought. You're a money-hungry squirrel chasing your next nut.
"Al Haymon [boxing manager] has made you hundreds of millions of dollars and you turned your back on him for this cheque? Disloyal.

"And you were begging to do this fight on pay-per-view, but I have loyalty to Netflix, doing the biggest numbers.
"And you call me a YouTuber, but you've never had a boxing match as big as mine."
He continued: "Remember you told my team that your daughter came home and asked if you were fighting Jake Paul, she was all excited. You said that was the first time your daughter has ever asked you about a fight.
"You're screwing over all your Mexican fans by doing your fights in Saudi. It just shows what type of person you are.
"I promise you one thing, Canelo - any fight that you do this year, mine will be bigger."
Alvarez moved to deny any accusations from Paul in a statement to Ring Magazine.
He said: "Hey guys, don't pay attention to anything [from] this f***ing YouTuber. I just fight real fighters... no f***ing around with Canelo. Come on - let's go!"
