UFC president Dana White gave his honest thoughts regarding Mike Tyson’s fight against Jake Paul - and it may not be what you expected.
White, 55, will be a busy man over the weekend as he will be keeping a close eye on the UFC heavyweight showdown between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic at Madison Square Garden in New York.
However, before this, on Friday evening, Tyson, 58, will take on Paul, 27, at the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium in Arlington, Texas. Tempers already boiled over on Thursday when Tyson slapped Paul in the face after the YouTuber goaded him at the weigh-in.

The bout has been shrouded in controversy mainly due to the age difference between the fighters and the fact Tyson has not fought professionally since June 2005.
Most fan’s concerns are centred around the safety of the former heavyweight champion of the world, and White’s take followed a similar tone.
“I will not say anything bad about this fight because I love Mike Tyson,” White said on The Jim Rome Show on Thursday.

“The only thing that I hope is that Mike comes out of this fight healthy.”
When White was pressed on his concerns for Tyson’s safety, he insisted that he hopes the 58-year-old comes away with his faculties intact.
“I just hope he [Mike Tyson] does [stay safe],” White added.
“At 58 years old, I mean, I’m 55, and obviously, I’ve never been the level of athlete that Mike Tyson is, but 27 vs. 58?

“It’s hard to consistently work out at that age just for health purposes and not get hurt. To train for something like this? It’s just, I love Mike. I hope he makes a bunch of money on Friday, and I hope he comes out healthy.”
The fight is set to be streamed on Netflix as the platform will broadcast live sports for the first time.
Spectators in Texas will see Tyson and Paul make their way to ring at around 10 pm local time (CT), but UK viewers may need a coffee or two if they want to catch a glimpse of the action with the estimated ring walk times expected to be around 4 am (GMT). Of course, times may vary based on the length of the undercard bouts.
