Footage from Mike Tyson’s last professional fight speaks volumes after the rules of his fight with Jake Paul were confirmed.
Last month, it was announced that Tyson and Paul would meet at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.
Popular streaming platform, Netflix, who will be showing the fight live, wrote on social media: “It’s JAKE PAUL vs. MIKE TYSON — yes, really! — in a LIVE BOXING event at AT&T Stadium you won’t want to miss. Airing live on Netflix Saturday, July 20 #PaulTyson.”
Speaking recently on Fox News, Tyson confirmed that the fight against Paul will be an exhibition.

The 57-year-old said: “This is called an exhibition, but if you look up exhibition, you will not see any of the laws that we are fighting under, this is a fight.
“I don’t think he’s faster than me. I’ve seen a YouTube of him at 16 doing weird dances, that’s not the guy I’m going to be fighting.”
He added: “This guy’s gonna come, he’s gonna try and hurt me which I’m accustomed to and he’s gonna be greatly mistaken.
“Right now, I’m scared to death but as the fight gets closer, the less nervous I become because it’s reality, and in reality, I’m invincible.”

Tyson’s speech from his last ever professional fight, a defeat in 2005 has also resurfaced since his fight with Paul was confirmed.
After losing to Kevin McBride, Tyson said: “Well I would like to continue, but I thought that I was getting beat on. I realised I don’t think I have it anymore.
“I got the ability to stay in shape but I don’t got the fighting guts I don’t think anymore.”
The interviewer then asked: “When did you recognise that, at what part of the fight?”

Tyson replied: “I don’t know, early into the fight. I’m just sorry I let everybody down. I don’t have this in my heart anymore.
“I’m just fighting to take care of my bills basically. I don’t have the stomach for this kind any more. I’m more conscious of my children and those guys looking at my appearance. I just don’t have that ferocity anymore, I’m not an animal anymore. Most likely I’m not going to fight again, I’m not going to disrespect this sport or anybody losing to this caliber of fighters.”
