Jake Paul will pay Mike Tyson $5 million if he can meet one condition during upcoming fight

Jake Paul will pay Mike Tyson $5 million if he can meet one condition during upcoming fight

Ahead of their scheduled fight on 15 November, Jake Paul has offered Mike Tyson an extra $5 million if he agrees to a bizarre stipulation.

With their highly-anticipated fight scheduled to finally take place next month, Jake Paul has made an enticing offer to Mike Tyson ahead of the bout but only on the condition that the former heavyweight world champion agrees to a bizarre deal.

The YouTuber-turned-boxing star has become one of the biggest names in the sport after first stepping into the ring in 2020.

Paul boasts a 10-1 win-loss boxing record, with standout victories coming in high-profile bouts against UFC stars such as Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz and, most recently, Mike Perry.

The 27-year-old right-hander was initially due to take on Tyson back in July but the Netflix showdown was postponed when the 59-year-old ex-professional pugilist was unable to train due to an illness.

Tyson became the youngest boxer ever to win the world heavyweight title when he claimed the WBC belt at the age of 20 in 1986. Known for his devastating power, he won 50 of his 58 professional bouts, with 44 of those victories coming via knockout.

But the Brooklyn-born fighter has not fought since a stoppage loss to Kevin McBride in June 2005.

Now, as the veteran power puncher prepares to step between the ropes once again, his opponent has cheekily upped the ante ahead of what is expected to be one of the most-watched fights in recent memory.

In a video clip shared to the TikTok for his gambling site, Betr, Paul is seen reclining on a couch and piling stacks of cash on his stomach as he makes his outlandish offer to Tyson.

“Mikey, Mikey, if you can last more than four rounds with me, I’ll give you an extra $5 million,” he says.

Paul is quick to add a significant catch to his proposal, though.

“But if you don’t,” he says, “then you have to get a tattoo that says ‘I love Jake Paul’. Deal or no deal?”

Tyson already sports a number of elaborate tattoos, including a large tribal design on the left side of his face.

As yet, though, there is no word on whether Tyson intends to accept Paul's unusual offer or not.
