Conor McGregor is poised to face Logan Paul in a shock exhibition boxing match after the UFC fighter took to social media to announce he has agreed to the bout.
The Irish fighter is best known for his exploits in the UFC, having become one of the most recognisable fighters associated with the franchise.
The 36-year-old has fought 28 times in the Octagon, emerging victorious on 22 occasions of which 19 were by knockout, one by submission and two by decision.

McGregor has lost six times throughout his entire MMA career, two of which were by knockout and four by submission.
McGregor last fought in the Octagon in July 2021 where he was defeated by Dustin Poirier.
A planned return to the UFC in June earlier this year against Michael Chandler ultimately did not materialise after McGregor suffered a broken toe. Meanwhile, in November McGregor lost a civil case where he was accused of raping Nikita Hand at a Dublin hotel in 2018 - raising further doubts over his planned return to the UFC.

He has now taken to social media to confirm he is poised to face YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in an exhibition fight in India, though there has been no formal announcement yet.
McGregor wrote: "I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India.
"I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon."
McGregor has fought in a boxing ring once before, a bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr in August 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada.

Mayweather won with a technical knockout in the 10th round, and it appears McGregor is now set for his second boxing bout against Paul.
The elder brother of Jake Paul has two professional fights under his belt so far, with a defeat against KSI and victory over Dillon Danis.
Both men have amassed plenty of wealth thanks to their careers in and out of combat sports.

McGregor has multiple business ventures, including launching his own brand of whisky and stout, as well as a Hollywood career thanks to starring in a remake of the film Road House.
Paul meanwhile has his YouTube exploits, as well as co-founding the beverage company Prime.
Should the exhibition bout go ahead, there will surely be a big payday for both fighters, so which out of the two men have a greater net worth heading into it?
McGregor appears to have the greater sum, with a reported net worth of $200m (£157m) - greater than Paul's estimated figure of $150m (£118m), according to Celebrity Net Worth.
