Chris Eubank Jr. is set to be slapped with a whopping fine after missing weight for his blockbuster clash against Conor Benn.
Eubank Jr. and Benn weighed in on Friday ahead of Saturday's all-British showdown at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The bout is contested at middleweight (160lbs) and has a rehydration clause.
Benn, moving up from welterweight, tipped the scales at 156.4lbs during the official weigh-ins. Over 3lbs under the limit.
Eubank Jr. weighed in after his rival but failed to hit the agreed limit.
According to Mike Coppinger, Eubank Jr. weighed in at 160.2lbs on his first attempt before weighing in at 160.05lbs on his second and final attempt.
As a result, he will be fined $500.000 (£375,000) and faces a further penalty if he exceeds the 170lbs rehydration limit on fight day.
The entire fine goes to Benn. The British Boxing Board of Control could also stand to fine Eubank Jr., per the report.
