Rap legend 50 Cent’s famous challenge to boxing legend Floyd Mayweather to read a page from a Harry Potter book is still one of the best videos of all time (watch it below).
Once considered close friends, the friendship between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather waned and the pair engaged in a heated war of words.
Mayweather, who retired from professional boxing in 2017, pulled no punches by taking aim at the likes of 50 Cent, Nelly and T.I.

The 45-year-old former boxing superstar’s comments prompted a response from 50 Cent in 2014, with the former G-Unit leader stunned by Mayweather saying ‘f**k 50.’
Speaking in a video clip, 50 Cent said: “Oh, God, I looked at the computer and the computer said [that] Floyd said... ‘f**k 50.’
“I’m like, what are you saying f**k me for?!”

50 Cent raised the stakes by saying he would put up a staggering $750,000 donation if Mayweather took up his challenge.
The ‘In da Club’ and ‘Candy Shop’ hitmaker then claimed he had enlisted the services of talk show host Jimmy Kimmel for Mayweather to read his challenge on live TV.
To make the challenge ‘easier’ for Mayweather, 50 Cent said, the rapper and actor was prepared for him to Dr Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat instead of Harry Potter.
“I got a phone call from my man Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Kimmel said that if Floyd accepts the challenge, then he will put it on the actual show,” 50 Cent said.

“So, you can read it on the show. We don’t want to put pressure on you. We know you can’t pronounce those words in that Harry Potter book, so we are going to let you read Cat in the Hat.”
