Arsenal are expected to remain active in the transfer market after eventually finalising the signing of Manchester City’s Oleksandr Zinchenko, according to italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners appear to be set to complete their fifth transfer of the season after agreeing terms with Man City for Ukraine international Zinchenko.
Costing the club £30 million, City boss Pep Guardiola has already confirmed the status of the transfer to Arsenal.

The signing takes the North Londoners’ spending for the season beyond the £100 million mark, but according to Romano, the Premier League club won’t stop there.
Speaking on the Wondergoal Podcast, Romano revealed: “Zinchenko is the priority but Arsenal are not done. I expect them to move for other players."
“Arsenal will be active until the very end. They’ll be monitoring wingers and will be looking for a good opportunity there."

“As mentioned, [Youri] Tielemans is a player they’ve always been interested in, but let’s see what happens with wingers."
“They wanted Raphinha, so they’ve been exploring other alternatives in that position. If something good appears in the market, it could be a possibility.”
Romano went on to define the Gunners’ transfer strategy as a very clear one, with the club keen to remain true to their plan and avoid gambling on not-so-fancied options.
“We know that, for example, in January, they [Arsenal] wanted Dusan Vlahovic,” Romano continued.

“They were not able to sign Dusan Vlahovic because the player wanted to join Juventus."
“And then, they [Arsenal] decided to wait in the market until June to sign Gabriel Jesus, who was their second target.
“So they’re not going to waste money on players that they do not trust.”
The transfer guru expands a little more on what he believes the North Londoners will be looking for in the final weeks of the summer transfer window, with the imminent signing of Zinchenko setting the tone for what Mikel Arteta looks for in a player.

“I’m told that Arteta is a big fan of this player [Zinchenko] and he’s looking for versatile players."
“This is why Arsenal wanted Lisandro [Martinez], who joined Manchester United, because Lisandro could play in different positions. Arteta is looking for these kinds of players.”
Zinchenko looks set to become the latest of a number of Arsenal signings this summer.
However from Romano's comments, they're clearly not finished yet and Arsenal fans will be in for an exciting few weeks.
