This comes after the Blues confirmed the arrival of Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli for £34 million.

The Blues face Charlotte FC on Thursday in North Carolina as they look to add to their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
With the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen having departed Chelsea already this summer, defensive additions were a necessity going into the new season.
Cesar Azpilicueta has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, while Marcos Alonso could also find himself at the Camp Nou next season if the Spanish side can financially afford a deal.

As reported by Nizaar Kinsella of The Evening Standard, Chelsea boss Tuchel is keen to bring in another four defenders.
The report states that the German is keen on three central defenders, also targeting a wing-back option this summer.
Jules Kounde has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea over the last few seasons, with it now appearing that the Blues are set to make a bid for the defender in the coming week.

Furthermore, Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe.
Thomas Tuchel, who worked with the 26-year-old in Paris, has reportedly made contact with his former player in order to sell the idea of a move to London.
Former Chelsea target Matthijs de Ligt is set to move to Bayern Munich, leaving less options for the Blues this summer.

In terms of wing-backs, Emerson Palmieri has returned from loan from Lyon and is likely to play his part in the Chelsea squad next season.
Jonathan Clauss of RC Lens has also been linked with a move to Chelsea after an impressive season in Ligue 1.
The defender is thought to be available for less than £10 million, with just a year left on his contract at the French club.
The Blues would most likely want a deal for Clauss sorted before agreeing to allow Azpilicueta to join Barcelona as Reece James would be the only natural right wing-back option for the Blues if their captain departs before the season starts.

It remains to be seen as to who will come through the door at Stamford Bridge as Tuchel plans a full defensive rebuild.
