Thomas Tuchel has made contact with Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe over a move to Chelsea this summer, according to reports.
The 26-year-old is reportedly available for transfer this summer as the Blues are in search for defensive reinforcements.
PSG are set to make a move for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar this summer, as Chelsea have seen Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen depart.

With Kalidou Koulibaly set to sign for the Blues in the coming days, Tuchel is not done there when adding defensive reinforcements.
Discussions are also said to be ongoing with Manchester City over the signing of Nathan Ake.
It remains to be seen as to whether the Blues will look to add all three defenders this summer, with Cesar Azpilicueta heavily linked with a move to Barcelona.

It appears that Thiago Silva has a preference as to who will join him in Chelsea’s back line ahead of the new season.
The Brazilian is said to have sent ‘a few text messages’ to his former team mate Kimpembe to ‘sell him’ the project at Stamford Bridge as the Blues prepare a move.
It appears that Silva is not the only one to have made contact with the French defender, though, with former boss Tuchel also in contact with the 26-year-old.
As reported by Foot Mercato, Tuchel has spoken to Kimpembe regarding a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Journalist Santi Aouna states that Kimpembe’s profile is seen as a priority by Tuchel and the Chelsea boss has spoken to his former player on the phone for ‘several minutes’.
During the conversation, Tuchel was able to discuss his project and the details of a transfer with Kimpembe.
However, the defender is keen on winning the Champions League with PSG as a childhood fan but his club are prioritising a departure to England for their player.

Alongside the call with Kimpembe, the ‘first exchanges’ took place between his representatives and the management at Chelsea.
Juventus are also interested in the defender as Matthijs de Ligt looks set for a move to Bayern Munich despite the interest from Tuchel’s side.
The report finalises by explaining that Tuchel is hoping for a backline of Silva, Koulibaly and Kimpembe for next season as he looks to rebuild his defence.
It remains to be seen as to whether a deal can be agreed between PSG and Chelsea, with the last bit of business between the clubs involving a centre back - David Luiz - who went on to lift the Premier League during his second spell at Chelsea.
