Levi Colwill is ‘expected to leave’ Chelsea this window with five Premier League clubs interested, according to reports.
The Blues are likely to allow 19-year-old Colwill to leave the club with it suggested that several Premier League sides are after his signature.
Having played on loan in the Championship last season for Huddersfield Town, the centre-back has now returned to his boyhood club and is reported to be awaiting a decision on his future.
Following the departure of German defender Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer to Real Madrid and the likely move of Andreas Christensen to Barcelona, there are open spots in the backline.

However, Chelsea have made their number one priority at the back acquiring the signature of Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt and want to further strengthen by adding one of Jules Kounde, Nathan Ake or Kalidou Koulibaly.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Sunday 26th July that Chelsea would be signing two centre-backs this summer, which shuts out Colwill’s chance.
Despite this, Colwill still made a good impression last season, which has attracted the interest of Premier League clubs who are determined to get a deal done.

Recent success stories of Fikayo Tomori at AC Milan and Marc Guehi at Crystal Palace who moved away from Chelsea may encourage Colwill as well.
According to talkSPORT, Southampton are one of the sides looking to sign the defender, who is ‘expected to leave’ Stamford Bridge this summer.
There is also interest from four other Premier League clubs as reported by the Daily Mail.
Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest are all after the Englishman.

This may leave Chelsea in a good position to cash in for Colwill, the amount of interest surrounding him will make the price go up.
Even though he is highly rated, this may be enough for them to let him go.
If Colwill can return to the form he displayed for Huddersfield last season, then he would be a superb acquisition for any Premier League side.

He was a key figure in their promotion push, and was unfortunate when his side lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest in the playoff final.
Colwill stated to The Sun he still has a desire to play for Chelsea, but went on to say: “if that doesn’t happen, then I have to find other ways to progress and become the player I want to be."
It remains to be seen as to whether the Blues will entertain bids this summer as they look to rebuild their squad.
