Chelsea have a full agreement with Nathan Ake regarding personnel, with Manchester City now awaiting an official bid, according to reports.
The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to Stamford Bridge after departing back in 2017.
The Dutch international spent time at Bournemouth before securing a £40 million move to the Etihad.

The most recent reports stated that talks were advanced between Man City and Chelsea regarding a move for Ake this summer.
Thomas Tuchel’s Blues are also on the verge of completing a move for Raheem Sterling after agreeing personal terms with the Man City star.
He is expected to complete his move for £45 million plus add-ons, with a potential double swoop of the Champions being completed.

With Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen departing this summer, Tuchel’s side are in the market for central defenders.
It is likely that the Blues will attempt to bring in two players to play at the back as they look to rebuild their squad ahead of the new season.
Matthijs de Ligt and Jules Kounde have also been linked, with a move for Ake looking the most likely.
However, Man City could delay Ake’s departure to give them time to sort out a replacement for the Dutchman.

It has now been revealed by Fabrizio Romano that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Ake ahead of a move.
An official bid is yet to arrive to Man City, but with personal terms being agreed, a transfer looks likely.
The report continues to state that City are looking for around £40-45 million for the defender and are planning to replace him with a new central defender if he is to leave this summer.

The Blues are preparing to depart on their pre-season tour of America, with Thiago Silva, Levi Colwill, Ethan Ampadu, Malang Sarr, Cesar Azpilicueta and Trevoh Chalobah among the current senior central defender options for the fixtures ahead.
It remains to be seen as to whether Ake will join in time to feature during the tour as City wish to sign a replacement in case he departs.
