Tom Glick is set to take over the day-to-day running of Chelsea under the ownership of the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, according to reports.
Boehly and co have overseen a complete overhaul at board level which has seen Bruce Buck and Marina Granovskaia depart, while CEO Guy Lawrence was also confirmed to have left following the club's £4.25 billion takeover at the end of May.
As a result, Boehly was appointed the club's new Chairman, as well as being named the interim sporting director while a full-time replacement was found.

Boehly appeared to be very hands on in all areas of the club but will now have assistance from Glick at Chelsea.
As reported by Mark Kleinman of Sky News, Glick will take over the role of the day-to-day operations at Stamford Bridge.
When he will begin his role remains unclear, but it is likely that it will be sooner rather than later.
He is likely to be taking over Lawrence's role as CEO, but that has not been fully confirmed, with it still unclear as to whether or not he would hold the Chief Executive title.

An announcement could be made within days.
Who is Tom Glick?
He is a former Manchester City executive - between 2012 and 2015 he was the club's Chief Commercial and Operating Officer before leaving to become the President of New York City Football Club.
After just one year in the role, he changed roles within the City Football Group, become the Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director of City Football Marketing.

He then stepped down in 2018 to become the President of NFL team Carolina Panthers, where he has ran the day-to-day operations on the business side for three years.
But he was replaced in February of this year to pursue other opportunities.
Boehly has outlined his vision for Chelsea which hopes to continue the success which they have endured over the past 19 years.

He said last month: "As custodians of Chelsea FC, we now begin executing our long-term vision and plan for the club, creating an outstanding experience for its passionate, loyal fans, and continuing to challenge for top honours in line with Chelsea FC's decorated history.
"Working together, side-by-side, we are firmly committed to winning, both on and off the pitch. For us, that effort has begun."
Chelsea's board level decisions are nearly complete with a sporting director hoped to be brought in, with Michael Edwards and Paul Mitchell both linked to the vacancy.
