Chelsea have confirmed the appointment of Tom Glick as the club’s new President of Business.
Glick, who has previous experience as the Chief Commercial Officer at the City Football Group and president of the Carolina Panthers, will now take over the day-to-day running of Chelsea.
This comes after the departures of director Marina Granovskaia and Chief Executive Guy Lawrence were confirmed last month following the club's takeover at the end of May.

"They have the Chelsea community at the heart of everything they do.

He added: "Tom’s successful track record as a leader and innovator at several respected and winning sport organisations made him the obvious choice for this position.
"His skills and experience will be vital as we improve Chelsea FC’s key infrastructure, expand the Club’s products and reputation, and find exciting new ways for our loyal supporters to engage with their favourite players."
Fellow co-controlling owners, Behdad Eghbali and José E. Feliciano were also extremely complimentary of Glick.
They said: "Tom is a terrific addition to Chelsea FC and will advance our long-term plans for the Club.

"He has the experience and credentials to elevate our significant global standing and help lead our commitment to strengthen the Club through investments in squad additions, infrastructure, technology, the youth academy, and the Women’s Team."
Glick will assume the responsibilities of the day-to-day running of the club, effectively taking over from Granovskaia's former role at Stamford Bridge.
Lawrence's exit as CEO sees Glick also succeed him in leading the commercial strategy of the Blues, looking at ways to improve the club's revenue as well as enhancing fan engagement.
