Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has sent Todd Boehly and the Blues owners a message regarding transfers as the window comes to a close.
Chelsea have until Thursday night to bring in additional reinforcements as they look to build a squad capable of challenging at the top of the Premier League.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, previously working with Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund.

However, negotiations seem to have stalled after the Blues offered a deal including Marcos Alonso to Barcelona.
It has now been reported that Chelsea are looking increasingly unlikely to sign the Gabon international this summer.
Furthermore, Chelsea have seen several bids rejected by Everton for winger Anthony Gordon.

Tuchel is thought to be a huge fan of the 21-year-old but it looks like a deal will be difficult to conclude this summer as Frank Lampard’s Toffees are keen to retain their academy graduate.
Therefore, Crystal Palace’s Wilfriend Zaha has been linked with a move, as Chelsea are eyeing up a potential swoop for the 29-year-old before the transfer deadline.
It remains to be seen as to whether Chelsea can get a deal doen for the Ivory Coast international.

It appears that Wesley Fofana will be joining the club from Leicester City after a fee has been agreed, with the Frenchman now undergoing his medical examinations in New York.
Depsite already being heavily backed in the transfer market, Chelsea boss Tuchel has sent a message to the Blues owners as he requests more signings before the deadline passes.
Speaking to the press ahead of Chelsea’s clash against Southampton on Tuesday, Tuchel said: "Right now, I think we could need some more players in some positions, but it's very close to the end of the transfer window, and when September 1 comes, I will be a happy coach no matter what happens.

“I will try to find solutions and not think about what might have happened or what could be."
The head coach continued to put focus on the clash against the Saints, saying that the transfer distractions do not matter.
"Everything that matters is reality, and at the moment (against Leicester), what mattered was finding a way to win," he continued.

"What will matter at Southampton is the same, find a way to win, step up individually and push the team from my side.
"This is what we will do no matter if players will come or not."
