Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has opened up on the reception Christian Pulisic has received since returning to the United States for the Blues’ pre-season tour.
The Blues have spent the week in Los Angeles during their training camp before travelling to Las Vegas to face Club America in their first pre-season match.
The 2-1 victory saw Timo Werner and Mason Mount get on the scoresheet in pre-season as Tuchel’s side handed their team the first win of the United States tour.

The match saw USMNT captain Pulisic in action in his hometown, featuring in the second-half.
With the World Cup coming up in 2022, the USMNT will face England in the group stages of the tournament and Pulisic will be keen to take advantage of any opportunities this season ahead of the competition at the end of the year.
Chelsea boss Tuchel has now discussed the reception that Pulisic received during the match against Club America.
Speaking to the press, as quoted by football.london, after the match, Tuchel said:"For sure, it's the first time in the U.S. since I'm in Chelsea. We can see everybody is excited about Christian.

“He is an American international player and captain for America, and he is an important player for us.
"I think he enjoys being in LA, Las Vegas, and now we go to Orlando.
“He enjoys being in his home country and playing for Chelsea and presents himself within the squad.
"Of course, we can clearly see the excitement around him."

Chelsea face Charlotte FC on Thursday in North Carolina before facing Premier League and London rivals Arsenal in Orlando before returning to Europe to face Udinese.
Pulisic is sure to feature more during the pre-season tour as the Chelsea squad look to build up further fitness ahead of the new season.

New Blues signings Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly are also likely to make their first appearances for the club against Charlotte as they prepare for the new campaign.
Chelsea may make further additions to the squad before Thursday, with Tuchel keen to bring in another defender before the start of the season.
Pulisic will be hoping to do enough in pre-season to show that he can be trusted as a key player for Tuchel this season, taking advantage of pre-season in America.
