They are also believed to be keen on Everton’s Anthony Gordon, but Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby is said to be the 'top target' for Eddie Howe’s side.
This news comes after it was revealed last week that ‘major clubs’ from both the Premier League and abroad have already been making enquiries about the winger ahead of a potential move in the transfer window.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is thought to rate Hudson-Odoi highly, and new co-owner Todd Boehly has held talks with the player’s representatives about his situation at Stamford Bridge.
The second half of last season proved difficult for him as he suffered an achilles tendon problem, ending the campaign with just three goals and six assists.

He is also set to be the highest paid player at Chelsea, with the England international to receive a pay rise on his current £300,000-a-week deal at the reigning Premier League Champions.
