Chelsea and Brighton are expected to announce the deals for Marc Cucurella and Levi Colwill on Friday, according to reports.
After a week of negotiations, the two deals are set to be confirmed by both clubs later this week for Cucurella and Colwill.
Brighton rejected all reports of a deal being agreed with Chelsea for Cucurella on Wednesday evening, releasing a club statement denying claims.

CEO Paul Barber explained why the club took to social media to shut down all claims, telling their Fans' Forum: "As always at this time of the year, the transfer window is what it is. We sometimes receive bids for players, we are under no pressure to sell anyone.
"We don't want to sell Marc in an ideal world but we are also realistic about players' ambitions and in certain situations if our valuation is met we will respect that ambition.
"We certainly don't want to leave Graham with a weaker squad than he would like for sure. It is an ongoing process, it's been a busy week, it's certainly been a busy day.

"Last night, as you know, we took the unprecedented step of issuing a statement because what we won't allow at any time is the media to run away with a situation that isn't true.
"So when we see breaking news that we have sold a player when we haven't actually even agreed a deal then we will step in and stop that. That is more than a rumour, that is giving you guys a very misleading impression that a piece of business is done when it isn't.
"So it is not often that I authorise a statement like that but when I do it is serious and last night wasn't good and it is not fair and we won't allow that to happen."
But now a deal is close to being agreed and the details of all the deals have now been confirmed.
