The details of Graham Potter's Chelsea contract have been revealed as he is set to sign a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge, taking over from Thomas Tuchel.
The German was dismissed as head coach on Wednesday morning following Chelsea's 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League opener.
With it revealed that the result was not the reason for the sacking, Todd Boehly and the new Chelsea owners were keen to bring their own man to Stamford Bridge, having identified Brighton boss Potter as the ideal candidate.

In a statement regarding Tuchel's departure, the club explained: "As the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the Club, and as it continues its hard work to take the club forward, the new owners believe it is the right time to make this transition.
"There will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made."
It has now been heavily reported that Potter will be the man to take over, with Chelsea keen to have him in place in time to take the team against Fulham on Saturday.

Reports have stated that Mauricio Pochettino and Ruben Amorim were considered for the vacancy, but that Potter was the first choice to succeed Tuchel as Chelsea boss, and the Blues will get their man.
With a verbal agreement in place, and the contracts set to be signed, the details of Potter's move have been released.
As reported by Tom Roddy of The Times, Graham Potter is set to sign a five-year contract as Chelsea boss.

He will be named as a head coach rather than taking a different role as manager, meaning that he holds the same job title as Tuchel.
Furthermore, Matt Law of The Telegraph revealed that the managerial change will cost Chelsea over £20 million.
Firstly, the sacking of Tuchel will see the German receive almost £7 million in compensation.
The Blues then have to pay Potter's release clause, believed to be set at £15 million, as they sign the head coach from Brighton.

It is expensive business for Chelsea, who were already the highest spenders during the summer transfer window.
Potter will now arrive and look to change the club's fortunes around, with three losses already in all competitions this season.

It remains to be seen as to whether he will lead the team against Fulham this weekend in the London derby.
Boehly has got his man, with Chelsea looking forward to the future under one of England's brightest coaches.
Potter will face a tough task of keeping the Blues squad happy, with competition for places at an all time high.
