Reece James was forced off with an injury to his knee in the 62nd minute of Chelsea's 2-0 victory in the Champions League against AC Milan at the San Siro on Tuesday evening.
Graham Potter's right-back was involved in a collision as he was attempting to drive into the Milan half. It looked like a nasty landing on his knee which led to treatment for the Englishman.
After attempting to play on, James fell to the floor minutes later and was eventually replaced by César Azpilicueta on the right flank.

It was a low moment of a game full of impressive play from the visitors.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his third in as many games, while The Blues defence kept their third clean sheet in a row.
Mason Mount was also a standout performer for Potter's side, he assisted Aubameyang's composed strike to double the lead in the first half.

Chelsea's no.19 was named the Player of the Match despite being substituted at half-time. Potter would've been wary with his playmaker being on a yellow, with the trigger happy Daniel Siebert producing 10 cards on the nigh, including a red card for former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori within 20 minutes.
James was enjoying life on the right flank before his withdrawal. Chelsea support will not be the only ones hoping that it is not a long term issue.
With the World Cup in a months time, Gareth Southgate will be sweating after Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kyle Walker have both picked up injuries too.
Following the win, which sent The Blues to the top of Group E, Potter gave an update on the talented defender.

"We're hoping he'll be ok. We'll need 24 to 48 hours," he said.
"We'll know more after that."
After previously being out of action for long periods through injury, James is desperate that this will not be the case again.
"Fingers crossed it's not a bad one," he wrote on Instagram on Tuesday evening.
