Chelsea face Leeds United in the Premier League and the confirmed team news is in from Elland Road.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are back on the road and will be keen to maintain their 100 per cent away start to the 2022/23 Premier League season.

They opened their account at the beginning of the month with a 1-0 away win at Everton before heading back to Stamford Bridge to draw 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur.

Leeds have an identical record to Chelsea to open the season - winning one and drawing the other - and Tuchel knows exactly what to expect from the hosts on Sunday afternoon.

“I expect a high intensity game, a high pressing team from Leeds and a very emotional stadium.

"We expect repetitive intensity, high pressing and a team that loves the chaos, a team of Leeds that has a high acceptance for mistakes.

"They don’t get frustrated by mistakes, they accept mistakes as chances to do counter-pressing and so on.

“We have to be well aware and also to manage our expectations, our level of acceptance for mistakes.”

Chelsea were confirmed to be without N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Armando Broja for the match in Yorkshire due to injury, Tuchel confirmed ahead of the game.

"We’re talking about weeks," said Tuchel on Kante's hamstring injury.

"Not good news. We are disappointed and sad because N’Golo is super important and super fit. He will be out for weeks."
